This 5-acre park is located just across the bridge from downtown East Jordan. Located at the great vantage point where Lake Charlevoix and the Jordan River meet, it is the perfect spot for viewing waterfowl and wildlife including bald eagles and osprey. There are several fishing piers at the south end of the park. Spring brings fishermen rainbow and brown trout, while Fall brings the return of spawning Chinook salmon.
This park features the historic EJ & SRR Old #6 Train Engine, which fascinates kids and adults alike. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a picnic or to just relax while watching birds, boats and fishing action.20151204_Sportsmans_Prelim_Sketch
